The vision of our Department is to create a scientific society which encourages conceptual understanding and logical thinking. We provide quality oriented teaching that may bring out the potentiality of the students.
To develop strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills by integration of knowing and doing.
The Department
of Physics was inaugurated in 2011 with 1 faculty and 13 students. The PG
program was set off in 2015. Now the department has grown up with 8 faculties
and 112 students with 31 PG students and 82 UG students. M.Phil Program was
started in 2018 with three Research Supervisors and Six students.
Department of Physics has both UG and PG lab which are well equipped with all the required models of apparatus for better lab experience. The Department of Physics focuses on the research areas like Synthesis of nano powders, Crystal growth etc...The department is blended with its growth in science and technology upto date in various dimensions.

UG Physics lab is well equipped with adequate number of apparatus for better lab experience.
PG Physics lab is equipped with all the facilities and apparatus required for the students.In our Department of Physics, Research activities are conducted in the field of Material Science.
Our students are encouraged to know about the synthesis of Nanopowders through the lab activities at the post graduate level. Our Research lab is facilitated with Muffle furnace, Magnetic stirrer and heating mantle.
