History:

Department of Computer Science is one of the departments established at the time of inauguration of the college in 2009, offered B.Sc (Computer Science) & B.Sc (Information Technology) UG programme's. From the year 2010, our department offered B.C.A Programme, Post Graduate programme M.Sc. Computer Science was introduced in 2012 and MPhil Computer Science was started on 2016. One of the milestones in the department history is the commencement of PhD Computer Science in the academic year 2020-2021. There are 18 faculty members committed to the department. Maximum number of staff members are fully qualified as prescribed by UGC guidelines. As of now, out of 18 staff members, 6 of them are holding PhD and 3 of them holding SET.
